Saturday Sips: Champagne Workshop and 30% Off Champagne Jacquart

Champagne Jacquart Brut Mosaïque & Brut Mosaïque Rosé

This Saturday only $34.30/bottle – 30% off regular price of $49/bottle SOLD OUT

Join us at the shop this Saturday any time between 10am – 7pm as we explore Champagne through the lens of two different bottles of Champagne Jacquart. We’ll talk about the three main grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier) that comprise most Champagne blends and their influence on the finished wine. We’ll also be discussing soil, climate, wine-making basics, history, and anything else that might be relevant or merely add a little spice to the already gratifying experience of drinking Champagne.

What’s even better is that you’ll be able to continue the exploration at home with a few bottles of your own — incredibly priced for the day of the workshop only. This is the best kind of homework.

Champagne Jacquart was founded in the early 1960s with 30 small families, mainly from the Cote des Blancs where Chardonnay dominates. Champagne Jacquart was released for the first time in 1962 and the ‘Mosaïque’ label chosen to represent the patchwork of grower families that are joined together with a common vision. The house style leans toward Chardonnay and emphasizes an intentionally low dosage.

JACQUARTBrut Mosaïque: Chardonnay (35%-40%), Pinot Noir (35%-40%) and Pinot Meunier (25% -30%).

Brut Mosaïque Rosé: Chardonnay (35%- 40%), Pinot Meunier (25%-30%) and Pinot Noir (30%-40% with about half vinified as red wine).

The grapes are sourced from exceptional terroirs, including the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
